PACE is a non-profit community support service organization that provides support services to adults with disabilities who are committed to living independent lives. PACE provides support services to more than 350 individuals who have a variety of disabilities. We operate 8 supportive housing sites where people live independently along with a Community Outreach Program that provides support services in people’s homes. PACE has been accredited with Accreditation Canada, since 2010. PACE achieved the highest rating of Accredited with Exemplary Standing in our last survey in May 2022.

Position Overview
The Information Systems and Solutions Specialist is responsible for incorporating relevant trends and technologies into practice, managing any assigned resources and third-party vendors, and working with stakeholders to understand business needs and how technology can support them. This role involves designing new systems and processes or modifying existing ones to enhance performance and efficiency, identifying any processes that can be streamlined using technology, and providing project management support for IT/IM-related initiatives. Additionally, the specialist leads and coordinates cross-functional project teams to support digital transformation initiatives and system improvements, communicates the IT strategy across the organization, and oversees the implementation and optimization of software systems performed by third-party vendors.

This position is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package. Core work hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm. You are able to do a staggered start time one (1) hour either way of 8:30am. Given the nature of this role, some nonstandard hours may be required including periodic nights and weekends. The role is primarily situationed at Head Office (Dufferin/Lawrence).
